Converters are becoming more and more important in energy supply. In terms of profitability and eco-friendliness, increasing the efficiency and service life of these systems while reducing the investment costs is the top priority. The development of new converters for various applications takes 1-3 years on average and requires many years of experience and expertise.

This Spotlight is aimed at developing an application that implements the requirements for a converter into a device. The core of the project is an AI agent that uses a database to independently suggest topologies, circuit diagrams, layout, and components as well as control algorithms. That way, the scientists are trying to shorten the development time while increasing the quality of converters.
